you're the only one that is creating flame man, and it's not 2-3 times a year, but 2-3 times a month, and it is completely different

/chortle... wish I was a 16 year old, freak or no. Sadly I'll be the wrong side of 40 by the end of the year.
*Goes back to playing a rather dire free-to-play WoW wannabe

maybe, but in fact I live in Europe, and play on Euro servers and I'm kinda happy when update comes, I don't sense doomsday everytime when it comes, I play on events and don't have f&^%*ng server connection problems. So cut the crap, 2-3 times a month, so what? I live on mars and play on different servers? Mostly when you have connection problems it's problem somewhere on line You->Anet. And it's not necessarily Anet issue, but routing problem, ATM failure or something. Kilometers of cables lie there but all that you see is "The weekly europe-server-problems are on sunday this week Too bad they're on a day with events (like most of the time)"

It just wouldnt be server downtime if people wern't getting their knickers in a twist now would it?
^.^
I'm as frustrated as the rest of you, but I Anet are usually great with their servers, up & running in a few hours, and they are much more reliable that others.
We're just all spoilt from GW. =P

Ever notice its the same people that make these threads and the same people that swear up and down that it can't be anything other then a server outage ? What is more amazing is that its always the same people saying the same things just like me.
Maybe there is something to that, maybe these individuals should do something productive like submit a ticket instead of complaining on a fan forum that can do absolutely nothing for them, and include important information like the region they are in, who they receive service from, what their route looks like. Its not magic you know, there are routing problem, there are hardware failures that occur outside the control of Arena Net.
You and I have no control over how hardware works or when it fails or the loads that it can handle before it fails. If you don't want failures to occur Demand better service from your provider and the parties it rents access from if the problem lies internally. That is all you can do.
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3030662
The first explains the exact thing I have been saying on here for weeks. REPORT the issue with a ticket and someone can look into it. Notice how they mention how few have reported the problems. Notice the problem on route is a Tier one service. All you can do is wait, it is out of the hands of either provider. This is not magically uncommon file a report instead of wasting time on a fan site that can't do anything for you anyway.

Because it illustrates my point. For all the post on the forums addressing problems like these only a very small percentage of people ever take the time to create a ticket and report a problem including information that is relevant. It by no means rule out a server issue, but its is far from likely that there is a server issue that is local for either party every week. It is in my opinion and experience that problems like those described that are as frequent are far more likely to be related to some kind of failure outside of the control of both service providers.
